Caring for our Children

The School Based Social Work program represents a dynamic collaboration between The United Way, Family Service of the Chautauqua Region, and Chautauqua County school districts and their Communities to identify and help students and families.

We come to you. Partners provide a team of skilled mental health professionals who work with school and community members to help children and families “on location” at the school, in the home, or at the offices of Family Service.

Tell us what you need. Our mental health staff is prepared to tailor services to fit the needs of your school or community.

Our staff is versatile. The staff of Partners includes members with varied masters level degrees and areas of expertise providing a rich resource of skills.

We are team players. School staff, community members, and Partners’ staff cooperate and coordinate services to maximize the learning opportunities of students.
